So, we have just about recovered from the high energy event that is the London Design Festival where we had a stand at the excellent TENT exhibition at the Truman Brewery on Brick lane. The week long trip was as always very inspirational with numerous major design events going on all over the city. Tent had a bumber year with a whole extra floor being put to use in the building and several very inspiring talks and presentations by designers and brands throughout the week.

Our stand, which we shared with our colleagues from Studio GBD was very well received with the launch of several new products from our key ‘Island’ sofa in new colourways to our ‘Truss’ storage system available in 4 sizes and various colours, our ‘Frame’ side table and new ‘Lightweave’ pendant light forms as well as several smaller storage pieces in the ‘Plybowl’ and ‘Plytray’ ranges.

Studio GBD also launched new products including the wonderful ‘Brigid’s’ Stool in copper plated steel, ‘Hurley’ hooks and new finishes in the classic ‘Coatclip’ wall hook. Check out their web site www.studiogbd.com

There were too many great launches and shows across London to mention but some we found time to get to included the big DesignJunction launch in the newly revamped King’s Cross area , the Piet Hein Eek exhibition at the SCP showroom and of course Designers Block at the Oxo Tower Wharf on the river
