We are always prototyping new products here at the studio and several are on their way through at present. Zed is a minimal chair design which takes it’s cue from my early experiences working for Stokke in Norway many years ago. They focused on quality flat pack design but never lacked ergonomic comfort. This chair is a bolt together design in 6 simple parts and comes in static or rocking versions. Current experiments are focused on variations of the backrest possibly incorporating a laminated plywood component. It provides a great level of comfort despite it’s simple design.
