We often get asked to provide consultation and produce parts for other designers and artists at the studio. In 2021 local artist Christine Mackey requested some components for an exhibition at the Leitrim Sculpture Center which involved the mounting and display of natural artifacts housed in petri dishes and viles. For this we produced a series of panels and ring parts in Birch Plywood which Christine in turn constructed into the sculptural works shown here. The mounting of these glass items required pin point accuracy for the holes and recesses to hold them carefully in place without any glue

We enjoy working on projects like this as it challenges us to problem solve and how best to create the concept in the artists mind in the most simple way without loosing any of their original ideas. Photos from the show by our studio
