This is a project from 2014 for Clodagh Design in New York, one of our long standing clients. It involved designing and producing a customised floor light for a private client in upstate New York for the dining area of a new build property. The choice of interior finishes included a particular bronzed steel finish and Walnut wood so they requested that we colour match these finishes to harmonise with the scheme. Several sample finishes were produced and delivered to the client for approval and a full drawing package of the light and details. The size of the piece also involved a sizable crate design suitable for US shipping and complete US standard wiring.

The client was delighted with the finished product and as you can see from the photos the light works very well in the scheme against the stone background and Walnut wood finishes in the dining space. Equally at night it adds immensely to the atmosphere and warmth of the room. We have included photos of the production process from our metal and woodwork shops
